Payment Options
You have options for premium payments for your medical professional liability insurance policy.
Please note:
- Online or phone payments made before 12:00 noon CT on regular business days are sent to the bank same day.
- Online or by phone payments after 12:00 noon CT or on weekends are sent the next business day.
Your payment posts to your ProAssurance account no later than the next business day. Balance and activity are viewable on the SSP's Billing Account Summary page.
To pay online, sign in to the secure services portal (SSP) and select the "Payments" menu option.

If your policy has been canceled, please contact your agent or a ProAssurance policy specialist (800-282-6242) to discuss policy reinstatement.
You may make a payment over the phone for canceled policies, subject to underwriting rules and regulations, though it does not guarantee policy reinstatement.
Payments cannot be made online for canceled policies.
